πŸ’ƒTIL WE Dance AgainπŸ•Ί

In the wee small hours

Of the backside of the nite

In my dreams

U hold me tight

When u come

To dance with me

Young lovers laughing

Giggling and smiling

Dressed in gowns

And fancy suits

Gazing into

Each others eyes

Out on the dancefloor

In a waltz, a tango

The bop or the twist

Knowing each others moves

From a long time ago

Love, ur the only one that I’ve missed

My favorite dreams

R always with U

Reliving memories

And moments too

Waking in the morning

Is bittersweet

Remembering the thrill

But ending my dream

Of U

Mornings leave me longing

For another dance or 2

Cuz dreaming is the only way

I can still be with U

And so each nite

Beneath the stars

I wait for the dream

That we can love and

Dance again

It is exactly how it was for me when my last relationship ended. Very powerful poem. Great penning ❀

From the opening dip all the way to the crescendo of the embracing dance, this poetic tango was beautifully orchestrated. Dreams like dances can go forever, β€œClock strikes upon the hour, and the sun begins to fade” and that’s when dreams take place. The lines in this collab is wonderful, the art fits it beautifully as a symbolism that the love will never die. Amazing job!!🌹
