In the wee small hours

Of the backside of the nite

In my dreams

U hold me tight

When u come

To dance with me

Young lovers laughing

Giggling and smiling

Dressed in gowns

And fancy suits

Gazing into

Each others eyes

Out on the dancefloor

In a waltz, a tango

The bop or the twist

Knowing each others moves

From a long time ago

Love, ur the only one that I’ve missed

My favorite dreams

R always with U

Reliving memories

And moments too

Waking in the morning

Is bittersweet

Remembering the thrill

But ending my dream

Of U

Mornings leave me longing

For another dance or 2

Cuz dreaming is the only way

I can still be with U

And so each nite

Beneath the stars

I wait for the dream

That we can love and

Dance again

    From the opening dip all the way to the crescendo of the embracing dance, this poetic tango was beautifully orchestrated. Dreams like dances can go forever, “Clock strikes upon the hour, and the sun begins to fade” and that’s when dreams take place. The lines in this collab is wonderful, the art fits it beautifully as a symbolism that the love will never die. Amazing job!!🌹
