🦋NO LONGER A FOOL🦋

How did I not know

U possessed the coldest heart

Ur sweet words deceived me

With promises

Tempting me to believe

Ur fiery passion

Ur hungry hands

Ur wild desires and lies about love

U hid the truth

No words of love or warm embrace

Will erase what I have learned

I am no longer a fool

Now ur words r barbed wire kisses

That cut me to the quick

And leave me in tears

My punishment for trusting u

I seek refuse in the darkest corner of my soul

The safest place to sit far away from u

Where I can wonder and plan my escape

Into a life that once again is mine

    Great poem of both you, indeed. There are no patches in it, all goes smoothly, flowing.
    Hope to see more of your mutual duo-poems – really harmonic and well chosen words.
    Thanks for sharing, dear friends 🙂
    Hugs and love

    “Playing with the Queen of Hearts, knowing it ain’t really smart. The Joker ain’t the only fool, who’ll do anything for you.” We never know what vacation we’ve been sold until we actually get tickets and see paradise is actually paradise falls instead. That’s when we make the best out of a bad situation and say a lesson learned is a lesson earned. Put a G in loss and make it shine, one closed door opens a new one. This collaboration is like a finely tuned duet.🌹

    Reblogged this on Notes and commented:
    Her words;
    “My punishment for trusting u
    I seek refuse in the darkest corner of my soul”
    How unfortunate it is that there are far more breakups in this world than there are people falling in love. Some are actually proud of mastering the art of “falling out of love”. The other day, I saw someone say “Fuck love”.
    It reminds of words of my favorite poetess;
    “In the end, we are only fucking ourselves”
    From the day we fall in love, the falling out becomes so much attractive. We find (whether we admit it or not) a tiny or a big reason to breakup only to repeat the same mistake over and over with more and more people until its time to give up on love and settle with cats or dogs.
