Ronald James Padavona born on July 10, 1942 in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. Listened to a great deal of opera while growing up. At age 5 began to learn to play the trumpet. Was influenced vocally by American tenor Mario Lanza. Participated in the high school band program and was one of the youngest members.
During High School in 1957 formed his own r-n-r band. “The Vegas Kings” later ” Ronnie and the Rumblers” and then ” Ronnie and the Redcaps”
